Services
Tidy Turtle Organizing provides professional organizing, decluttering, and downsizing services, primarily conducted in clients’ homes throughout Southeast Michigan, as well as virtual consultations. Services are customized and subject to availability.
No guarantee of results
Results vary based on client participation, the condition of the space, and other factors outside of our control. Tidy Turtle Organizing does not guarantee specific outcomes.
Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:

Being present during sessions or designating a decision-maker

Clearly identifying items that must not be removed or discarded

Making final decisions regarding what is kept, donated, or disposed of
Tidy Turtle Organizing is not responsible for client decisions or misunderstandings regarding item selection.
Authorization for removal and disposal
The client acknowledges that all decisions regarding removal, donation, or disposal are made by the client. Once approval is given, the client assumes full responsibility for those decisions.
Tidy Turtle Organizing is not liable for items approved for removal, donation, or disposal, including items later claimed to have been discarded in error.
Assumption of risk
The client understands that organizing services may involve physical activity, including lifting, bending, moving items, and working in cluttered environments. The client assumes all related risks to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tidy Turtle Organizing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from services or website use.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Accidental damage to items during normal organizing work

Pre-existing damage or unsafe conditions in the home

Loss of items approved for donation, disposal, or removal

Outcomes resulting from client decisions or participation
Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Right to refuse or discontinue service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time if conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or otherwise unsuitable.
Scheduling and cancellations
Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Reasonable notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future services.
Payment
Pricing is communicated in advance. Payment is due as agreed at booking or upon completion of services. Failure to pay may result in suspension or refusal of services.
Third-party services
We may recommend third-party services such as donation centers or junk removal providers. These providers are independent, and we are not responsible for their actions or services.
Intellectual property
All website content and branding are the property of Tidy Turtle Organizing and may not be used without permission.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes shall be handled in Michigan courts.
